THIS WEEKS LETTER IS: Z
This week's book is Robert M. Prisig's 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' which I read many many years ago - to be honest I don't really remember much of it.
Synopsis Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" caused a sensation when it was first published in 1974. The story of the narrator, his son Chris and their month-long motorcycle odyssey from Minnesota to California profoundly affected an entire generation. Both personal and philosophical, this book is a compelling study of relationships, values, madness and, eventually, enlightenment
I am yet to read it!
ReplyDeleteI don't have Z book, but here is my review of a romantic suspense novel!
Same here - no Z book. But here is a link to my review of an archaeology mystery set in Greece: The Tomb of Zeus.
ReplyDeleteThis one reminds me a little bit of "Easy Rider," but with a Zen twist...lol.

I also read this one many years ago, and loved it. In fact, I almost used it for my Z book today, but changed my mind at the last minute. It's a great choice!
ReplyDeleteHere's my "Z" book.
Oh my, I did not know this was really a book. I remember it from a Will and Grace episode!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!! I've never heard of this book before.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing!
